The Platform tools drivers must also be installed in the Windows system, otherwise the instructions will not work.

Since we do not yet have any public roms that can be installed in recovery and I am therefore concentrating fully on the fastboot instructions, I have decided to show the instructions from my old pixel 6 here. The steps are actually identical. Everything looks a little different but otherwise there is no difference. 

But watch out! The instructions for unlocking the bootloader are wrong and the instructions for the platform tools are much more up-to-date here. Therefore, please use the remaining instructions from this page.
